12. California Supplement

This California Privacy Supplement applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), applies to CHCollective’s processing of their personal information. It supplements the other provisions of this Privacy Notice.

We collect these categories for the purposes described in Section 2 of this Privacy Notice and disclose them to the categories of recipients described in Section 3. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about a consumer.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

CHCollective does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law.

To the extent our use of a third-party cookie, pixel, or similar technology is considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA, California residents may direct us not to sell or share their personal information by submitting a request through info@chcollective.com with the subject line “California Opt-Out Request.” We will also process opt-out preference signals, where required by applicable law, for the browser or device from which the signal is sent.

Submitting and Verifying a Request

To exercise a California privacy right, email info@chcollective.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and identify the right you wish to exercise. You may also have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written authorization and may verify your identity and authority in accordance with applicable law.

We will verify requests using information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity and will use information collected for verification only for that purpose. We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, and may extend that period when permitted by law after providing required notice.
