Daniel Young

Daniel Young is a seasoned leader in supply chain strategy and operations, with over three decades of experience spanning healthcare, pharmaceuticals, entertainment, and aviation. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Daniel began his civilian career with industry giants such as Electronic Data Systems, American Airlines, and Universal Studios, where he led global strategic sourcing initiatives across diverse categories.

In 2001, Daniel joined Fisher Scientific, where he spent 14 years designing and managing outsourced service models for top-tier research and healthcare institutions. His work helped streamline scientific supply management across academic, industrial, and clinical environments.

At Medline Industries, Daniel served as Senior Director and later helped launch the Supply Chain Optimization division. He notably led Medline’s emergency response during the COVID-19 pandemic, building a 500,000 sq ft PPE distribution hub and onboarding 2,000 healthcare providers to support New York City’s frontline efforts.

Today, Daniel leads the Supply Chain Services division at Henry Schein, where he focuses on last-mile fulfillment and demand-driven solutions for non-acute healthcare providers. His career reflects a deep commitment to operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and scalable logistics strategies.
