Jose Ferrua
Jose Ferrua is a seasoned healthcare executive with a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field.
Currently, Jose serves as the Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Lone Star Circle of Care, a Federally Qualified Health Network that experienced significant growth from 2009 to 2013. He rejoined the organization in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience and insight.
From 2021 to 2023, Jose held the position of CEO at Journey of Life Healthcare, a Home Health and Hospice Agency. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years at DHR Health System in South Texas, where he progressed from Chief Ambulatory Officer to Chief of Staff Administration and Executive Vice President. In this capacity, he worked closely with the CEO to oversee the daily operations of a 530-bed hospital and its 6,000 employees, managing critical administrative functions such as Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Development, Engineering, Marketing, Facilities Management, and Education.
Jose’s background also includes extensive experience in the technology sector, having held roles in Finance and Operations with leading companies such as Dell, Hewlett Packard, and Motorola.
