Shigeyuki “Shige” Murota leads Facktor’s Finance division, bringing a unique blend of healthcare expertise and financial acumen. With extensive experience in healthcare administration, finance, and management, alongside firsthand work with patients and care coordination, Murota is passionate about empowering clients through transition, growth, and restructuring. Murota delivers data-driven strategies that strengthen financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and enhance patient outcomes.

Murota earned a MBA from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business and both a Master and Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the San Jose State University College of Applied Sciences and Arts. Outside of work, Murota enjoys outdoor sports, exploring global cuisines and beverages, live music, and film.
